    RCPD arrests man on fraud, theft charges

    Riley County Police have charged a Lawrence man on suspicion of forgery, making false information and theft.

    40-year-old David Nelson, was arrested Tuesday on a Riley County District Court warrant at 2923 Nelson’s Landing in Manhattan.

    Nelson is charged with two counts of forgery, two counts of making false information, two counts of unlawful computer acts, theft and attempted theft.

    RCPD says the warrant stems from two incidents reported in April. Neson remaind jailed on a $30,000 bond.
