    RCPD investigating $5K trailer theft

    The RCPD is investigating the theft of a cargo trailer reported Monday afternoon in the 1800 block of Fair Lane.

    According to the RCPD, officers filed a report around 4:42 p.m. on July 21 after it was discovered that a white enclosed cargo trailer had been stolen. The trailer belonged to Affordable Electric.

    The estimated value of the stolen trailer is approximately $5,000.

    Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Riley County Police Department or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
