    Officers responded to a report of an injury crash in the 800 block of N 3rd Pl. in Manhattan on July 11, 2025, at approximately 12:13 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by, Jason Bryant, 26, of Manhattan had struck a pedestrian, Samantha Taylor, 24, of Manhattan. Taylor was transported to Via Christi for treatment of her injuries. Bryant was issued a citation for failure to yield to pedestrian in crosswalk.

    Melissa Carson, 38, of Manhattan was arrested on July 12, 2025, at approximately 10:26 a.m. for a Riley County District Court warrant and a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant each for one count of failure to appear. These warrants stem from original offenses of theft, revocation of probation, criminal deprivation of a motor vehicle, and criminal trespass.  Carson was issued a total bond of $10,750 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated domestic battery in Ogden on July 12, 2025, at approximately 1:16 p.m. A 32-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 33-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Mykal Crawley, 33, of Manhattan was arrested for aggravated battery. Crawley was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for domestic battery and aggravated domestic battery in Manhattan on July 12, 2025, at approximately 4:57 p.m. A 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were both listed as a victim and a suspect on the report. Malachi Kahssay, 18, of Manhattan was arrested for domestic battery and aggravated domestic battery. Kahssay was issued a total bond of $10,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report. Alexander Anderson, 19, of Manhattan was arrested for domestic battery. Anderson was issued a total bond of $2,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.

    Sarah Sessin, 38, of Manhattan was arrested on July 13, 2025, at approximately 1:35 a.m for interference with law enforcement and on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. The warrant stems from original charges of theft, identity theft and interference with law enforcement. Sessin was issued a total bond of $5,500 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Jordan Zimmerman, 27, of Manhattan was arrested on July 13, 2025, at approximately 12:41 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for violation of a court order. Zimmerman was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct near the intersection of Fort Riley Blvd and Poyntz Ave. in Manhattan on July 13, 2025, at approximately 4:15 p.m. A 39-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported a 27-year-old man brandished a firearm during an argument. Brian McCallum, 27, of Junction City was arrested for aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. McCallum was issued a total bond of $6,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
