Jesse Brewer, 31, of Manhattan was arrested on July 14, 2025, at approximately 4:55 p.m. on a Riley County District Court warrant for theft. Brewer was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for rape in Manhattan on July 14, 2025, at approximately 8:47 p.m. A 58-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 43-year-old man known to her was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional details will be released.
