A Manhattan teen was arrested by Riley County Police officers for multiple charges, including attempted murder, at 1:27 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1300 block of Vattier Street.
Chase Alan Meinholdt, 19, was arrested for attempted first degree murder; intentional and premeditated, aggravated robbery inflicting bodily harm, aggravated battery with a weapon, burglary of a vehicle, distribution of 25 to less than 450 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia with the intent to manufacture a controlled substance and use/possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. He is held in Riley County Jail on a $305,000 bond.
An RCPD representative said the charges involve a 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man. They said the charges stem from a report filed on July 25.
The representative said the case remains an active investigation and would not release further information.
