    By Emma Loura

Riley County officials approved the final plat of University Park Unit 15 on Thursday. This replats two lots, Lots 270 and 271, into one single lot on the subdivision. This passed on a 3-0 vote.

“The site is located approximately 100 feet northeast of Hawthorn Lane, on the south side of Redbud Drive in Sherman Township,” planner Bob Isaac said. “The property was originally platted as Lots 270 and 271 University Park in 1951, and later rezoned residential in the 1974 zoning conversion process.”
