Kansas State football’s tight ends room has a lot for fans to get excited about heading into the upcoming season.
The group, which had been tutored by the current Wildcat offensive line coach Brian Lepak up to last season, is now being led in his first year in Manhattan by Luke Wells, a former tight ends coach at Tulsa, Texas Tech, Utah State and Iowa State, and the brother of associate head coach and offensive coordinator Matt Wells.
“So far, it’s been great,” Luke Wells said. “We’ve had a lot of fun out there. This is a fun group to coach. These guys are excited to play every day. I love the culture of this football program, and we’ve got a bunch of tough kids that love playing football and love showing up to work. It’s a really good environment to be around.”
