One person was transported to the hospital Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Officers responded at approximately 4:16 p.m. Feb. 25th, 2026, to the area of Northfield Road and Tuttle Creek Boulevard for a reported injury accident. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2017 Ford F-250 driven by Christopher Bunnel, 43, of Manhattan, had collided with a 2016 Ford Edge driven by Renee Novak, 51, of Manhattan. Jerome Novak, 51, of Manhattan, was listed as a passenger in the Ford Edge.

Jerome Novak was transported by Riley County EMS to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
