    Manhattan woman jailed on $20K bond in drug case

    A Manhattan woman was arrested Thursday evening on multiple drug-related charges following a police investigation in the 300 block of N. 5th Street.

    The RCPD responded to the area around 5:50 p.m. on Aug. 14 and arrested 31-year-old Cassidy Stockman. She faces charges including distribution of opiates/narcotics/heroin in quantities less than 3.5 grams within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture or cultivate a controlled substance, and distribution of opiates/narcotics/heroin in doses under 10 within 1,000 feet of a school.

    Bond was set at $20,000, and Stockman remained confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
