Officers filed a report for violation of a protection order and stalking in the 1300 block of Marlatt Ave in Manhattan on August 12, 2025, at approximately 7:08 a.m. A 38-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a 36-year-old man violated a protection order. Mashawnda Dotson, 36, of Manhattan was arrested for violation of a protection order and stalking. Dotson was issued a total bond of $6,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

TJ Grant, 36, of Manhattan was arrested on August 12, 2025, at approximately 10:02 a.m. on a Riley County District Court Warrant for probation violation. This warrant stems from an original offense of residential burglary, two counts of forgery, interference with law enforcement and violation of a protection order. Grant was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Officers filed a report for aggravated battery in the 3400 block of Chimney Rock Rd in Manhattan on August 12, 2025, at approximately 4:21 p.m. A 28-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 33-year-old woman was listed as the suspect when it was reported the suspect battered the victim and caused an injury.

Officers filed a report for interference with law enforcement (obstruct/resist/oppose felony warrant execution) in the 600 block of Fort Riley Blvd in Manhattan on August 12, 2025, at approximately 3:55 p.m. A 22-year-old man was listed as the suspect when it was reported he interfered with law enforcement during the service of a felony arrest warrant. Yabdiel Rodriguez, 22, of Manhattan was arrested for interference with law enforcement.  Rodriguez was also arrested in relation to an incident which was reported on August 10, 2025 for two counts of interference with law enforcement and possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant. Additionally, Rodriguez was arrested on a Riley County District Court Warrant for aggravated assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm within city limits and disorderly conduct. This warrant stems from a report filed on April 5, 2025. Rodriguez was issued a total bond of $27,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Jazmine Smith, 20, of Junction City, was arrested on August 12, 2025, at approximately 4:42 p.m. for interference with law enforcement and theft of property or services. These charges stem from two reports filed on August 10, 2025. Smith was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
