The RCPD logged a series of arrests and incidents in Manhattan on Aug. 15 and 16.

Among the arrests, officers took 21-year-old Jeremiah Anthony Gooch of Manhattan into custody in the 1100 block of Moro Street Friday night on a warrant for failure to appear. He was issued a $750 bond. Earlier in the day, 40-year-old Julia Marie Hamling of Junction City was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at RCPD headquarters, with her bond set at $750.

Officers additionally arrested 35-year-old Nicholas Ray Atkinson Brown Friday afternoon in the 400 block of S. 4th Street on a probable cause charge of battery. His bond was set at $750. In a separate case, 33-year-old Tiffany Dawn Ryals of Manhattan was arrested Friday morning at the Riley County Jail on multiple failure-to-appear warrants, with her bond totaling $50,000. She remains confined.

The incident log shows police responded to an injury crash Friday afternoon at S. 5th Street and Fort Riley Boulevard, along with multiple non-injury crashes around Manhattan. Reports also included larceny cases at Menards and Walmart, a vehicle theft on Moro Street, and an assault early Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn on S. 3rd Street.

Anyone with information about a crime can contact Crime Stoppers. Using Crime Stoppers allows you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
