Jeremy Welch, 46, of Tucson, Arizona, was arrested on August 19, 2025, at approximately 2:06 p.m. at the 1000 block of Seth Child Road, on Riley Count District Court warrant for two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. Welch was issued a total bond of $100,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Brian Vestal, 52, of Ogden, was arrested on August 19, 2025, at approximately 11:57 a.m. at the 800 block of Elm Street in Ogden on a warrant from Newport News, Virginia. Vestal was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report aggravated burglary in the 8200 block of South Port Drive., on August 19, 2025, at approximately 8:40 a.m. Short Stop was listed as the victim when it was reported a 31-year-old suspect illegally entered the business through the drive-thru window and stole cigarettes. Mingo Pasillas, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested for aggravated burglary at 4:45 p.m. Pasillas was issued a $20,000 bond and remains confined in the Pottawatomie County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of Burglary in the 3100 block of Anderson Avenue, on August 19, 2025, at approximately 6:59 a.m. Dairy Queen was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown person broke a window to enter the building and attempted to open a safe.
