Authorities say the inaugural Rock the Plains was an overall safe event for concertgoers.

According to statistics provided by Pottawatomie County Sheriff Doug Adams on Sunday, there were just six law enforcement-related calls for service occurring over the weekend at Tuttle Creek State Park, related to the event.

Adams said his office arrested one person on suspicion of criminal trespass. Officers also reported two cases of battery, one case of animal cruelty, one water-related call and one non-violent domestic incident.

Overall it was a fairly safe weekend for concertgoers at Rock the Plains.

Calls were handled by the Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks.
