Texas man held on $100K bond after Aug. 10 incident

A Texas man was arrested Sunday morning in Manhattan on a Riley County District Court warrant stemming from earlier charges.

According to the Riley County Police Department, officers took Rogelio Juarez Jr., 23, of Amarillo, Texas, into custody on Aug. 24 around 10:07 a.m. in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road. He was wanted on charges of aggravated assault, criminal use of weapons, and aggravated endangering of a child.

The warrant relates to an incident reported on Aug. 10, 2025. Juarez Jr. was issued a total bond of $100,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of the report.
