    Staff reports

Manhattan High girls’ golf made it three in a row Monday, winning its third straight Centennial League championship with a team score of 315 at Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Junction City.

“This group has just worked so hard, they push each other and are just great kids,” head coach Paige McCarthy said. “It’s a pleasure to be around them because they make it fun. We’re just enjoying the ride.”

Junior Maddie Myers led the way once again, capturing her third consecutive league medalist title with a 1-over-par 73, finishing with a birdie for out-right first place. Seniors Kat Ball and Lily Bahr rounded out a Manhattan sweep of the podium, finishing second with a 74 and third with an 81, respectively.
