    Andre Chislum, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 2, 2025, at approximately 7:20 p.m., in the 1300 block of Flint Hills Place in Manhattan for aggravated robbery and aggravated battery. These charges stem from a report filed in July 2025. Chislum was issued a total bond of $100,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Jennifer Woody, 44, of Wamego, was arrested on September 2, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m., in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road in Manhattan, on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This warrant stems from an original charge of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Woody was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of forgery and identity theft in the 2700 block of Bent Tree Drive in Manhattan, on September 2, 2025, at approximately 5:13 p.m. A 74-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it reported an unknown suspect stole a check and altered it to redirect the payment. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $3,488.62. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report for two counts of battery of a law enforcement officer and attempted battery on a law enforcement officer in the 1800 block of College Avenue in Manhattan, on September 2, 2025, at approximately 3:50 p.m. A 38-year-old man was listed as the suspect when it was reported he kicked an officer while being restrained on September 1 and then battered a corrections officer and attempted to batter another on September 2. Dylan Peterson, 38, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 2, at approximately 4:14 p.m., for battery of a law enforcement officer (university/campus police), battery of a law enforcement officer (county or city officer) and attempted battery on a law enforcement officer. Peterson was issued a total bond of $16,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Wendell Parrish, 42, of Scottsdale, Ariz., was arrested on September 2, 2025, at approximately 2:05 p.m., in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road in Manhattan, on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from an original charge of interference with a law enforcement officer. Parrish was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Zachary Tilton, 37, of Manhattan, was arrested on September 2, 2025, at approximately 11:23 a.m., in Pottawatomie County on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This warrant stems from an original charge of driving while on a suspended license. Tilton was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
