    Police investigating moped theft in Manhattan

    Police are investigating a vehicle theft reported Tuesday morning in the 900 block of Colorado Street.

    Officers with the Riley County Police Department responded at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 9 after a 21-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man reported their moped was stolen from the street by an unknown suspect.

    The estimated loss is approximately $1,000.

    Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the RCPD or Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service allows individuals to remain anonymous and may qualify them for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
