    RCPD Report: 10/22/25

    Officers filed a report of vehicle theft in the 1900 block of Crescent Drive in Manhattan at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Oct. 22, 2025. An 85-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a suspect known to her stole her 2002 Ford F-150. Then at approximately 2:07 a.m., Michael Brooks, 33, of Manhattan, was arrested in the 900 block of Humboldt Street for criminal deprivation of property, driving while suspended, possession of marijuana, interference with a law enforcement officer and trafficking of contraband into correction facility. He was issued a total bond of $7,500 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Nathan Bell, 30, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:52 p.m. on Oct. 21 in the 2200 block of Blaker Drive on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This arrest stems from an original charge of interference with a law enforcement officer. Bell was also arrested on an additional charge of interference with a law enforcement officer. He was issued a total bond of $11,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
