William Cott, 56, of Topeka, was arrested at approximately 11:17 p.m. on Oct. 28, 2025 in the 1000 block of Seth Child Road in Manhattan on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. Cott was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
David Nelson, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:33 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges of forgery and unlawful computer acts. Nelson was issued a total bond of $45,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
