MANHATTAN, KAN. — Officers filed a report of theft at approximately 6:02 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2025 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. An 18-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported his iPhone 16 was stolen somewhere in Aggieville on Nov. 6. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,200. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for trafficking contraband into a correction facility and possession of controlled substance at approximately 3:55 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. Isain Lopez, 29, of Lansing, was arrested at approximately 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road for trafficking contraband into a correction facility and possession of a controlled substance. Lopez was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Jeremy Barker, 46, of Ogden, was arrested at approximately 3:40 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from original charges of criminal restraint and domestic battery. Barker was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Joseph Fabre, 60, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 12:47 p.m. on Nov. 7 in the 700 block of Colorado Street on a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation. Fabre was issued a total bond of $150,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
