    James Johnson, 24, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 2:25 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2025 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for three counts of probation violation. This arrests stems from original charges of domestic battery. Johnson was issued a total bond of $15,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of burglary at approximately 8:27 a.m. on Nov. 5 in the 300 block of N. 15th Street. A 51-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole two bicycles from an enclosed porch. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.     Officers filed a report for vehicle theft at approximately 12:09 p.m. on Nov. 4 in the 2300 block of Stagg Hill Road. Briggs Auto Group was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole a 2023 Nissan Rogue sometime within the last month. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $27,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.
