The Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office has recovered a stolen vehicle and made an arrest following a two-day investigation.
Deputies located a Toyota Avalon around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon in Abilene. The car had been reported stolen out of Nebraska, but officials say it was unoccupied when they found it. The vehicle was processed for evidence and towed for holding until it could be returned to its owner.
Investigators arrested 19-year-old Christopher Bryant of Abilene on a charge of vehicle theft. He remained in custody as of Friday morning on a $2,500 bond.
