Manhattan High girls’ basketball closed its opening weekend with a runner-up finish at the Hays City Shootout, falling to host Hays 61–53 in Saturday’s championship game.
The appearance marked the Indians’ tournament-record 17th trip to the Shootout title game, and first since 2018.
