    RCPD investigating $2,349 vehicle burglary on Bertrand Street

    The Riley County Police Department is investigating a vehicle burglary reported Monday morning in Manhattan.

    Officers filed the report around 9:30 a.m. Dec. 1 in the 900 block of Bertrand Street. A 21-year-old man and Torgeson Electric Co. were listed as the victims after an unknown suspect stole miscellaneous power tools, hand tools and clothing from a vehicle. The total loss is estimated at $2,349.
