    Officers filed a report of theft at approximately 2:53 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2025 in the 1100 block of Meadowbrook Lane. A 38-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle and stole various children’s clothing, boots and a diamond ring. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $10,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report of criminal threat at approximately 7:28 p.m. on Dec. 13 in Manhattan. A 43-year-old man was listed as the victim. A 36-year-old man was listed as the suspect. Joseph Macias, 36, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Dec. 13 for criminal threat. Macias was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Brian Havens, 46, of Westmoreland, was arrested at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Dec. 13 on a Riley County District Court warrant for possession of opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant; failure to appear; probation violation; use possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body; and trafficking contraband into the correction/care facility, as well as a Manhattan Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear. Havens was issued a total bond of $19,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of possession of opiate, narcotic or certain stimulant; possession of marijuana; use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body at approximately 5:38 p.m. on Dec. 13 in the 600 block of S. 10th Street. Lisa Price, 45, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 6:21 p.m. for possession of opiate, narcotic or certain stimulant; possession of marijuana; use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body. Price was issued a total bond of $8,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of rape at approximately 12:22 p.m. on Dec. 13 in Manhattan. A 58-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 63-year-old man known to her was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Alexander Darnell, 20, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 9 a.m. on Dec. 13 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Geary County District Court warrant for probation violation. Darnell was issued a total bond of $25,000 and is no longer confined the Riley County Jail.

    Dakota Garner, 34, of Tulsa (Okla.), was arrested on a Riley County District Court warrant for three counts aggravated indecent liberties with a child at approximately 5:10 p.m. on Dec. 12 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. This arrest stems from a report filed on July 5, 2025. Garner was issued a total bond of $300,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Due to the nature of the crime reported, no additional information will be released.

    Officers filed a report of burglary at approximately 4:37 p.m. on Dec. 12 in the 600 block of Moro. A 47-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman were listed as the victims when it was reported a 19-year-old male suspect known the victims stole various items, including a tackle box with valuables. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $1,500. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Eli Smith, 22, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 12 p.m. on Dec. 12 on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. This arrest stems from original charges of possession of methamphetamine and theft. Smith was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Nichole Morehead, 22, of Ogden, was arrested at approximately 7:24 p.m. on Dec. 12 on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road. This arrest stems from original charges of distribution of fentanyl, unlawful use of a telecommunication facility to distribute fentanyl and theft. Morehead was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
