    Sarah Richter, 41, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 2:39 a.m. on Dec. 31 on a Pottawatomie County District Court warrant for failure to appear in the 600 block of Yuma. Richter was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Marcel McGill, 49, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 10:03 p.m. on Dec. 30 on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear in the 700 block of Griffith Drive. That arrest stems from original charges of improper passing on right and expired or no registration. McGill was issued a total bond for that charge of $300. McGill was then arrested at 11:10 p.m. in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on nine counts of violating the offender registration act, four counts of aggravated violation of the offender registration act and four counts of perjury. McGill was issued no bond for that arrest and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

    Officers filed a report of vehicle theft at approximately 5:24 p.m. on Dec. 30 in 1300 block of Westloop Place. A 40-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported his gray 2017 Chevy Cruze was stolen from the Westloop parking lot by an unknown suspect. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $9,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report of vehicle theft at approximately 2:04 p.m. on Dec. 30 in the 1100 block of Garden Way. A 20-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman were listed as the victims when it was reported a gray 2007 Chevy Impala had been stolen by an unknown suspect. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $2,000. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Ryan Cummings, 40, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 12:26 p.m. on Dec. 30 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Road on four Pottawatomie County District Court warrants for theft of property or services, criminal deprivation of property, probation violation and criminal trespass. Cummings was issued no bond and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
