Authorities have reported a Fort Riley sergeant found dead at the Outlet Park near Milford Lake in Geary County.
Geary County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the park at 9:25 a.m. Friday following a report of a deceased person.
They said 26-year-old Sgt. Christopher B. Sanchez had been found by relatives. Sanchez’s family confirmed that he was an Army sergeant at Fort Riley, according to WIBW.
Geary County Sheriff’s officials said they do not suspect foul play, and there is no threat to the public. The incident is still under investigation.
