A shorthanded Kansas State men’s basketball leaned on a dominant second half from P.J. Haggerty to finally break through in Big 12 play, edging Utah 81-78 on Tuesday night at Bramlage Coliseum for the Wildcats’ first conference win of the season.
“I’m super proud of them,” head coach Jerome Tang said. “I would’ve been proud of them if we were 5-0 and this happened. We’ve got high-character guys. They show up every day, they bring energy, and we’re learning how to move on to the next thing.”
