Two people from Manhattan were arrested again Thursday night after police executed a second search warrant as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Riley County Police say officers served a search warrant around 9:36 p.m. Jan. 15, 2026, in the 1600 block of Woodcrest Drive. As a result, 39-year-old David Labombarbe and 27-year-old Bailey Crumpton were taken into custody.

Labombarbe faces multiple charges, including distribution or possession with intent to distribute heroin or fentanyl within 1,000 feet of a school, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of an opiate or narcotic, possession of a depressant, criminal use of weapons, possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture or cultivate a controlled substance, and use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Police say he was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

Crumpton was arrested on charges of possession of an opiate or narcotic, use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia, and interference with a law enforcement officer. He was issued a total bond of $9,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

The arrests follow earlier action this week, when Labombarbe and Crumpton were taken into custody Tuesday during a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Pembrook Place. In that incident, Labombarbe was arrested on multiple felony drug charges involving fentanyl and methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and was issued a $300,000 bond. Crumpton was arrested on possession charges and was later released after posting a $7,000 bond.

    The investigation remains ongoing.
