Officers filed a report for possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant, driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol and interference with a law enforcement officer at approximately 3:58 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2025 at the intersection of E. Poyntz and McCall Road. Tomas Rios, 50, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:17 p.m. for possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant, driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol and interference with a law enforcement officer. Rios was a issued a total bond of $5,000 is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
