    Officers filed a report of theft at approximately 4:09 p.m. on Jan. 19, 2026 in the 900 block of N. Manhattan Ave. A 19-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect stole her electric bike. The total loss associated with this case is $1,500. Anyone with information, contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward up to $1,000.

    Officers filed a report of sexual battery at approximately 5:37 p.m. on Jan. 18 in Manhattan. An 18-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 21-year-old male known to the victim was listed as the suspect. Due to the nature of the crimes reported, no additional information will be released.

    Daivd Labombarbe, 39, of Manhattan, was booked into the Riley County Jail at approximately 2 p.m. on Jan. 16 on three counts of possession of opiate/opium/narcotic or certain stimulant, one count each for distribution or possession with intent to distribute heroin/fentanyl within 1000 feet of a school, distribute opiate/narcotic/certain stimulant/heroin within 1000 feet of a school, distribute certain depressant within 1000 feet of a school, possession of substance in KSA 65-4105(h), use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body, possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture/plant/cultivate controlled substance and criminal use of weapons. The original charges were filed on Dec. 30, 2025. The Riley County District Court revoked Labombarbe’s previous bond. Labombarbe was issued a total bond of $450,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Officers filed a report for domestic battery, criminal damage to property and use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body at approximately at 9:24 a.m. on Jan. 16 in Manhattan. A 39-year-old woman was listed as the victim when it was reported a 44-year-old male suspect known to her battered her. Kevin Harbaugh, 44, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 9:47 a.m. for domestic battery, criminal damage to property and use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into the human body. Harbaugh was issued a total bond of $9,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.

    Kahlil Kilian, 47, of Kansas City (Mo.), was arrested at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Jan. 16 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on three counts of forgery; making or altering a written instrument, three counts of identity theft, two counts of theft by deception, one count of attempted theft by deception and three counts of forgery; distributing or issuing written instrument. This arrest stems from an original report filed in March of 2023. Kilian was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
