    27-year-old held on $10k bond after probation violation arrest

    A Junction City man was arrested in Pottawatomie County Thursday on a Riley County District Court warrant for violating terms of his probation.

    According to the Riley County Police Department, 27-year-old Tristen Jepsen the warrant stems from original charges of aggravated battery, residential burglary and theft. A search of Kansas District Court records shows Jepsen was arrested twice last year. — once on March 2, 2025 on burglary and theft charges. A week earlier, on Feb. 24, 2025, Jepsen was also charged with aggravated battery with a knife.

    He was sentenced in January to probation.

    Jepsen remains in the Riley County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
