    29-year-old man arrested on multiple charges after Friday incident

    A Manhattan man was arrested Friday in connection with an incident involving multiple alleged offenses, according to the Riley County Police Department.

    Officers filed a report at approximately 9:42 a.m. Feb. 6th in Manhattan for aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, domestic battery and criminal possession of a weapon. A 52-year-old woman and a 31-year-old woman were listed as the victims.

    Joshua Downey, 29, of Manhattan, was arrested later that day at approximately 9:57 p.m. on charges of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, domestic battery and criminal possession of a weapon.

    Downey was issued a total bond of $18,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
