    HOW WE GOT HERE | A timeline of the five days surround Jerome Tang’s firing

    For the second time in the last three months, Kansas State fans experienced a whirlwind of change in a small amount time over the weekend when former Wildcat men’s basketball head coach Jerome Tang was fired for cause.

    While most are aware of where things stand as of publication early Monday afternoon, it’s worth looking back at what all transpired over the last week that led to the ouster of the fourth-year head coach and his team that was mired in one of the worst seasons in school history.

    Wednesday, Feb. 11

    Tang goes on a viral rant following a 29-point blowout loss to Cincinnati, one of the 10-worst home losses in program history. His comments, along with the students wearing paper bags on their heads during the game, made national news.
