Manhattan High wrestling checked off the first box in its postseason plan Saturday, sweeping the Centennial League tournament and sending both squads into regionals with momentum.
“We’re proud of these kids,” head coach Shawn Bammes said. “Today was step one in our three-step process — league tournament, regional tournament, state tournament. Today they were excited. Both the boys and girls teams came home league champs and had outstanding wrestling representing both programs. It was a good day on the mat for our program.”
