    Police arrest Manhattan man in Sunday night fatal stabbing

    A Manhattan man has been arrested on a second-degree murder charge following a fatal stabbing Sunday night, according to the Riley County Police Department.

    Officers responded around 8:11 p.m. Feb. 1 to the 1900 block of Anderson Avenue for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, police found Teray Robinson, 24, of Manhattan, with a stab wound. Robinson was transported by ambulance to Via Christi Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

    Police detained Billy Arnez, 39, of Manhattan, at the scene. After an investigation, Arnez was arrested at approximately 1 a.m. Feb. 2 on a charge of second-degree murder.

    Arnez was issued a total bond of $1,000,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail.

    The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information has been released at this time.
