Police in Manhattan are investigating two separate thefts reported Saturday.
According to the Riley County Police Department, officers filed a theft report at about 8:43 a.m. Feb. 1 in the 1100 block of Moro Street. A 23-year-old woman reported that an unknown suspect took two rings. The estimated loss in that case is approximately $2,000.
A second theft was reported later that day at about 12:31 p.m. in the 700 block of South Fifth Street. A 42-year-old man told officers that an unknown suspect took his black American Eagle 18-foot car hauler trailer. The estimated loss associated with that report is approximately $2,500.
