    St. George man arrested on multiple felony charges in Manhattan

    A St. George man was arrested Friday night following an incident in Manhattan that resulted in multiple felony charges, according to the Riley County Police Department.

    Officers filed reports at approximately 8:41 p.m. Feb. 6th in the 3200 block of Kimball Avenue for aggravated assault, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, criminal discharge of a firearm, interference with a law enforcement officer, possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon by a felon. Victims in the case included a 33-year-old man, a 46-year-old woman, a 46-year-old man and a 37-year-old man.

    Tayvon Nash, 26, of St. George, was arrested at approximately 8:53 p.m. on two counts of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer and one count each of aggravated assault, criminal discharge of a firearm, interference with a law enforcement officer, possession of stolen property, possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a weapon by a felon.

    Nash was issued a total bond of $40,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
