Just in time for Fake Patty’s Day, a new nightclub opens this week in Aggieville.
Kaw’s, a Johnny Kaw-branded nightclub, will officially open at 10 p.m. Thursday in the former Shot Stop space. The club is modeled after Westport Landing, one of the brand’s Kansas City locations, and is designed to bring a larger, more polished nightlife experience to Manhattan.
The venue features a central dance floor surrounding the DJ, six VIP tables and nearly 100 smart lights designed by a professional lighting designer. Regional manager Dustin Bartholomew said the goal was to blend a modern nightclub feel with Manhattan’s college town identity.
