RCPD Report 3/2/26

Officers responded to a report of an injury accident at approximately 8:45 p.m. on March 1, 2026 near mile marker 196 on Tuttle Creek Blvd near Randolph. Upon arrival, officers found a 2022 Toyota Camry driven by Pamela Martin, 59, of Blue Rapids, had slid on ice and wrecked on a bridge. Martin was transported to Via Christi Hospital by Riley County EMS for minor injuries.

Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property, interference with a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct at approximately 12:46 p.m. on Feb. 27 in the 100 block of Manhattan Town Center. Dillard’s was listed as the victim and two unknown males were listed as the suspects. Daniel Charley, 35, of Manhattan, was arrested for interference with a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct at approximately 1:07 p.m. Charley was issued a total bond of $4,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report. Elias Quentario Mendez Chase Wallace, 22, of Kansas City (Mo.), was also arrested at approximately 1:07 p.m. for criminal damage to property, interference with a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct. Chase Wallace was issued a total bond of $7,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.

Kurtis Rich, 29, of Topeka, was arrested at approximately 8:28 a.m. on Feb. 27 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on probation violation warrants. This arrest stems from original charges of criminal restraint. Rich was issued no bond and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
