A Topeka man was arrested early Sunday morning after Riley County Police say he fled officers and crashed.
Officers filed a report just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Manhattan Avenue, in the Aggieville area. Police say 22-year-old Mateo Hyman faces several charges including attempting to elude law enforcement, driving under the influence, aggravated battery, DUI causing bodily harm, failure to stop at an accident, driving while suspended and no vehicle liability insurance.
The report listed 19-year-old woman as a victim.
Hyman was issued a total bond of $20,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
