A Manhattan man who was set to have the jury trial for his case in Riley County District Court begin Tuesday failed to appear for jury selection in the morning.
Adrian Tyrone Watson, 55, was arrested in October 2024 and is charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a box cutter, criminal threat and battery. He was released from jail in November 2024 on a $10,000 bond.
A complaint document filed with the court lists Rachel Marie Smith, Steven Duwaine Tillery and Johnnie Lee Tillery as the victims in Watson’s alleged crimes.
