Officers filed a report for aggravated arson at approximately 4:04 p.m. on April 13, 2026 in the 800 block of Moro Street. MOD, LLC was listed as the victim when it was reported seven air conditioning units were damaged by a fire. Suspect is unknown. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $70,000. Michael Dominique Sledd, 34, of Wamego, was arrested at approximately 9:13 a.m. on April 13 in the 600 block of S. Seth Child Road for two counts of violating the offender registration act. Sledd was issued a total bond of $20,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
