Officers filed a report of aggravated assault at approximately 10:19 p.m. on April 15, 2026 in the 1200 block of Bertrand Street. A 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old woman were listed as victims when it was reported a known 21-year-old male suspect pulled a gun on them.
Andrew Douglas McCready, 42, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 9 a.m. on April 15 in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from an original charge of criminal threat. McCready was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report of burglary at approximately 8:57 a.m. on April 15 in the 700 block of Osage Street. Seymour Properties was listed as the victim when it was reported two known male suspects – age 25 and age 24 – unlawfully entered an apartment and removed a variety of items. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $2,500.
