K-State Federal Credit Union was listed as the victim when it was reported a known 34-year-old male suspect was given a loan for a 2017 Ford truck and then sold the truck without paying off the loan. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $25,000.
Officers filed a report of theft by deception and identity theft at approximately 10:44 a.m. on April 22 in the 1500 block of Harry Road. A 69-year-old man was listed as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect he met online defrauded him out of money and personal information. The total loss associated with this case is $5,500.
