Kelli Ruth Gill, 37, of Wichita, was arrested at approximately 11:51 p.m. on April 2, 2026 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for distribution/possess with intent to distribute heroin/certain stimulants/fentanyl (3.5-100 grams), distribution of heroin/certain stimulants/fentanyl (less than 1 gram), distribution of a controlled substance, battery on law enforcement officer, two counts of trafficking contraband into a correctional facility, two counts of trafficking contraband into a correctional facility; unauthorized possession of an item at facility, and attempted interference with law enforcement officer. This arrest stems from a report originally filed in September 2025. Gill was issued a total bond of $75,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Bryan Stephen Painter, 38, of Topeka, was arrested at approximately 8:04 p.m. on April 2 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road on a Riley County District Court warrant for failure to appear. This arrest stems from original charges that include four counts of unlawful acts concerning computers, four counts of identity theft, two counts of criminal use of a financial card and one count of attempted theft. Painter was issued a total bond of $30,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
Jacob Theodore Disberger, 27, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 10:41 a.m. on April 2 in the 2700 block of Buttonwood Drive for nine counts of identity theft, six counts of criminal use of a financial card; without consent of owner ($1000-$25,000), four counts of criminal use of a financial card; without consent of owner (less than $1000), and mistreat dependent adult. This arrest stems from a report originally filed in January 2026. Disberger was issued a total bond of $20,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
