David Aidan Kerstetter, 18, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:44 p.m. on April 29, 2026 in the 100 block of Courthouse Plaza on a Riley County District Court warrant for probation violation. This arrest stems from an original charge of distribution of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school. Kerstetter was issued a total bond of $5,000 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
Brittanie Michele Vaughn, 31, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 4:12 p.m. on April 29 in the 1000 block of S. Seth Child Road for violating a Riley County District Court order. This arrest stems from original charges of distribution of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of aggravated endangering of a child, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute. Vaughn was issued a total bond of $50,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
