A Chicago man was arrested early Saturday morning following an attempted ATM break-in in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report at approximately 11:16 p.m. May 23 in the 1000 block of Hylton Heights Road for attempted theft of property or services and unlawful computer acts.
Intrust Bank was listed as the victim after it was reported that an unknown suspect wearing a mask attempted to break into an ATM.
Alexander Jose Lopez Cedeno, 18, of Chicago, was arrested at approximately 12:40 a.m. on charges of attempted theft of property or services and unlawful computer acts.
Lopez Cedeno was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
