A Manhattan man was arrested Thursday morning on multiple child exploitation charges stemming from an investigation that began earlier this year, according to authorities.
Kirk Lee Hartgenbush, 64, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 10:30 a.m. May 28 in the 700 block of Allen Road.
Hartgenbush was arrested on 24 counts of sexual exploitation of a child for possessing media depicting a child under the age of 18. The arrest stems from a report originally filed in March 2026.
Hartgenbush was issued a total bond of $100,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
