One person was transported to the hospital Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 12:03 p.m. May 16th near Fifth Street and Fort Riley Boulevard for a reported injury accident. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 2011 Chevy Traverse driven by Ashley Nichole Anderson, 32, of Ogden, had rear-ended a 2012 Ford F-150 driven by Rachel Porter, 42, of Manhattan.
A passenger in the Ford, Jerry Porter, 41, of Manhattan, was transported to Via Christi Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Anderson was issued a citation for following too closely.
